Kelley Cheng is a Jill-of-all-trades. The Editor-in-Chief- of Singapore Architect magazine, she also runs her own publishing and design consultancy The Press Room. She owns 2 trend- setting F&B outlets 15 minutes and Night & Day and sits on various advisory panels for educational and design institutions. She also serves regularly on the judging panels of local and international design competitions such as Red Dot Awards, Design for Asia, Creative Circle awards, and more. Kelley was shortlisted in 2010 as one of the Most Inspirational Women by Her World magazine.

Evie Syariffudin was born in a small rural town of Sukabumi, Indonesia, where people on people on the street know her as “the granddaughter of the shop-owner down the street”. And even though she loves big cities, loves travelling to see great design, and still can’t believe that she went to Harvard Graduate School Design, she still thinks Sukabumi provided solid foundation of her design education. Faris Basharahil is the Founder and Director of Social Creatives, a non-profit social enterprise that promotes community art. Social Creatives connects youth to social issues through artistic expression; its projects include public murals and the transformation of dustbins. In 2007, Faris was part of a Temasek Polytechnic Community Service Club team that received the President’s Award for Social Service.

Tino is a designer, thinker, TED fellow, entrepreneur, educator, movement starter and trouble maker. He now run a design consultancy and a design magazine. Born in Singapore, grew up in Hong Kong, served in the military before coming to America for his design education at Rhode Island School of Design. In 2008, he helped found a national conference called A Better World by Design bringing 300 people from around the country who were redefining the social and environmental realm. Building upon the success, the conference attracted 550 people in 2009. In 2009, he was nominated as a TED Fellow. Tino then started BIG NEW IDEAS, a design consultancy, working with non-profits and companies making their idea happen. He then cycled 4,000 miles from Providence, RI to Seattle, WA raising money and awareness for affordable housing.
